Wedding in italy

“Oh, let’s get rich and buy our parents
Homes in the South of France
Let’s get rich and give everybody nice sweaters
And teach them how to dance
Let’s get rich and build our house on a mountain
Making everybody look like ants
From way up there, you and I, you and I “

Do you remember that song ? Is the one I think about when i look over this wedding !

Helen – extrovert and hyper energetic sweet London actress. Jake – shy and introverted, sweet, a little insecure and reserved, good eyes and cuddly face, but full of Helen’s solar energy. After a holiday in Puglia a year ago they had promised that if they ever said they were getting married they would do it in the midst of those olive trees. And so it was. A simple, small, intimate marriage with a few guests, those who count. Best friends, parents and their two! We arrived at the Scinarello farm towards one o’clock when Helen started preparing. The atmosphere sheltered a film by Giuseppe Tornatore. That silence broken by the cicadas in celebration. The white of the farms stand out in these arid and luxuriant fields of olive trees, oil, nourishment, nothing, life. We approach a little fear at the semi-open gate of the farm and we see two gentlemen in their sixties making us gesture to enter. They spoke English and had a famous British, kind and oppressive, harmless. We entered and we found the small farm full of relatives who were anything but jeweled and cleaned up, there were those who cooked something, those who drank a beer in the sun, those who played cards. And then a pretty girl with eyes full of stars runs towards us, wrapped in a white bathrobe and a towel rolled over her head that was almost bigger than her! He embraces us, welcomes us, takes our suitcase and brings them home. “Make yourself at home!” Sometimes the first impact with a couple or a person says a lot about how the feeling will be afterwards during the portrait session – The ceremony organized by My Package Wedding Italy would have taken place at the castle of Monopoli. A sweet little civil ceremony. To reach it we took the small port surrounding the countryside from the old city of Monopoli, where we then took some portraits. But the magic part came when we returned to the farm for the party. Helen & Jake walked on the avenue flooded with a golden light. And everything knew he fell exactly where he needed to be. The two of them together, that light, that place, the photos. We. It was beautiful.
